Examiner | Black Tuesday far from depressing

To most historians, the term “Black Tuesday” refers to the collapse of the stock market in October of 1929, which resulted in the Great Depression of the 1930’s. However, this past Tuesday, the term was used to describe the larger than life, double-headlining concert held by Columbus emcees Searius Add and Sinatra.
Skully’s Music Diner played host to the event, which was presented by Chief Execs Entertainment and the Nine-Tenths Media Group. Dez Arnez and Benny Blanco held down the hosting duties, while DJ Bern and DJ Mr. King manned the 1’s and 2’s for the evening.
For a weeknight event, the late start time was rather odd, but the crowd didn’t seem to mind. After a few opening acts, Searius Add took to the stage, engaging the crowd. He even took the time to pass out roses to some of the ladies in the audience. One lucky lady even had the opportunity to come on the stage and be serenaded by Add.
Following Add, was another young (and slightly inebriated) artist named Snow, who delivered a brief but yet entertaining Jay-Z inspired set.
Sinatra hit the stage, backed by DJ Bern and some thundering, hard hitting bass. A few members of the audience had gone the way of the buffalo, but the majority of the crowd stuck around for the remainder of the show and maintained the same level of energy they had from when they first stepped in the door. By the end of the affair, there was no question of the event was called Black Tuesday.
Searius Add and Sinatra certainly brought down the house.
Forturnately, there is no depression in sight this time around.
