Where were you when it happened. Given the date, I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. What types of thoughts went through your mind? Fear? Disbelief? Anger? Happiness? As the day progressed, what types of things did you see happening around you? Just wondering.

It’s getting hot outside..perhaps a few weeks ahead of schedule and that can only mean one thing. People are about to lose their minds. Whether it’s driving like they have no sense, starting a fight at the family reunion, or having the nerve to step outside in something they know they had no business wearing…it’s about to get ridiculous.

Unless you’re blind, I’m sure that you’ve noticed the new design. I’ve just been getting lost in things that make me feel good. I’ve been wanting to do this for awhile, but I hadn’t had the time to sit down and figure out just how I wanted to go about doing it.

OK, maybe it’s not that serious. I’m just getting into one of those moods I get into again. I’ll go do a few things to make myself feel better and all will be well again.

Today is Mother’s Day and my mother has come down from Cleveland for the weekend, and while it’s nice to see her..sometimes I’ll think that it’s time for her to go. Nothing too serious but just slight irritations. A few nit picky things that make me glad that I live alone like questioning the fact that I tossed out some old bread, or how junky it is. I told her that she should have seen it just a few days prior, she might have beaten me.

I posted this picture and poem a couple months ago over on my Flickr. I wasn’t sure if i had posted it here or not. As it turns out, I hadn’t..so I’ll do it now.
